Chaplaincy Groups
Each full-time student is assigned to a member of faculty who acts as a chaplain with regard to personal or spiritual matters and as mission[1] team leader.  Faculty meet with their chaplaincy group (Years 2 to 4 members only – in the interests of size) on a weekly basis for the purpose of discussion on matters of mutual interest.  Year 1 students are assigned to discussion groups under the supervision of the First Year Adviser. Students also have access to the Dean of Students, who is responsible for matters which affect the personal or spiritual welfare of students and their families.

Women Students
The pastoral care of women students is primarily the responsibility of the Dean of Women Students.

Senior Students
The Senior Students are a group of students appointed by the Principal who consult regularly with the Principal and are responsible for

·         arranging Student Committees to assist in various aspects of College life;

·         assisting the Dean of Students in the arrangement of Chaplaincy Groups;

·         organising the Student’s Union; and

·         managing the Students’ Mutual Assistance Fund.

Personal Support
A very wide range of personal support for individual students derives from the nature of the community, modelled as it is on both a Christian fellowship and an academic community. Accordingly, a high level of mutual assistance is provided between students in times of sickness and other debility. Numerous informal study groups exist and students meet at least weekly in small groups involving students from all years for prayer and other spiritual and pastoral encouragement.

Chapel

Chapel services, in which all students are expected to participate, are held on three days per week. As part of these students have the opportunity to preach trial sermons and to develop skills and experience in leading church services.
