Mark has been a member of the faculty since 1991. Since his return from doctoral studies in 1997 he has also served as the College's Academic Dean.

As well as his activities at College and in Anglican parish of Ashbury, Mark is a member of the Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney and the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia. Since 2005 he has also been a member of the Standing Committee of the Synod of the Diocese of Sydney.

Mark has been a member of the Sydney Diocesan Doctrine Commission since 2001.

Mark sits on the Council of the Christian Witness to Israel and also serves as President of the Anglican Church League.
