Return to study

The DBT is Moore College’s first fully accredited online course for laypeople.

Via its highly interactive teaching tools and digital learning community, the course breaks the boundaries of geography for the many laypeople and teachers who have ministry responsibility – particularly in remote, foreign or regional locations – and those who are travelling for missionary work abroad.

Where this diploma might take you

The DipBT will help with training and equipping:

  • Laypeople who have ministry responsibility and help run churches and missions, particularly in remote, foreign or regional locations, and those travelling for missionary work abroad.
  • Teachers, Bible studies facilitators, those working on Christian missions both in Australia and abroad.
  • General laypeople seeking to deepen their understanding of God’s promises in the Bible and those who wish to build an accredited pathway towards further formal theological training for ministry.
  • Laypeople for volunteer work in their local churches and communities, including Bible Study Leaders, Sunday School Teachers, Youth Group Leaders and Lay Preachers.

Graduates with the Diploma of Biblical Theology may be eligible to proceed to the College’s Advanced Diploma of Bible, Mission and Ministry program.
