CCL Event: The Greatest Enemy of Freedom is Freedom

We are excited to have international author and speaker Os Guinness joining us for the next evening seminar run by the Centre for Christian Living. The CCL aims to help Christians understand how the Bible informs and shapes our moral response to the myriad questions we face day by day. Be sure to save the date for Wednesday 30 May, when Os will be helping us think through the competing visions of ‘freedom’ in contemporary Western culture, and how important it is for Christians to understand, live out and share the freedom we have in Christ.

Os has written more than 30 books and is a keen observer and critic of the current state of Western culture. In his writing and speaking he explores the challenges and opportunities Christians face as we seek to live for Christ in a complex and often hostile world. His talk is entitled The greatest enemy of freedom is freedom: Christian freedom and the illusions of contemporary freedom.

The seminar will be held from 7:30 to 9:30pm in the Marcus Loane Hall, 1 King St Newtown. For more information or to book tickets, go to https://ccl.moore.edu.au/ccl-events/
