David Helm’s visit to Moore helps provide clearer thinking about Bible exposition

Each Friday, our students and faculty have the privilege of hearing guest preachers at College Chapel.

The College was privileged to hear David Helm, author of Expositional Preaching, One-to-One Bible Reading and The Big Picture Story Bible, preaching on Revelation 14 in late May.

You can listen to his sermon here.

Others activities while he was here included leading students in seminars on disciple-making and lecturing on expositional preaching.

Dr Chase Kuhn, Moore faculty member, said, “It was a great privilege to host David Helm here at Moore. He is a faithful practitioner who exemplified great pastoral ethos. Students remarked about how wonderful and humbling it was to have a seasoned minister sincerely express the significance of prayer in discipleship and preaching. David’s experience – through his ministry in the local church and his leadership in the Simeon Trust – brought a wealth of distilled wisdom to the College, helping us to thinking clearer about Bible exposition.”
