Mission Awareness Week 2018 is on

It’s Mission Awareness this week at the College. The aim of Moore’s annual Mission Awareness Week is to raise the College’s awareness of global mission opportunities. The theme of 2018 is ‘Global Mission in Everyday Ministry’.

The week seeks to encourage prayer for the work of missionary organisations, to think about what mission partnership looks like in the 21st century, and to consider cross-cultural ministry themselves, whether that is across the street or across the world.

Various mission agencies are on campus this week and many opportunities exist for College students to hear from them and meet with them, including electives. The guest preacher in the chapel services during the week is Dave McDonald, National Director of FIEC. He has been preaching on ‘Spiritual’ global mission.

To hear his Friday Chapel sermon, visit: https://www.moore.edu.au/resources/chapel-sermons.

The rest of the week features a range of different activities to refresh students’ vision for participating in God’s mission. Please pray that the students will grow in their commitment to gospel mission locally and around the rest of the globe. To check out the activities of the week see the official program here.
