Dr Chris Thomson
Dr Chris Thomson joined Moore from the University of Edinburgh where he was Teaching Fellow in Biblical Studies. He previously taught Hebrew in the University of Cambridge and Hebrew, Greek and Old Testament at Oak Hill College in London.
Chris has degrees in law from the University of Oxford and in theological and pastoral studies from Oak Hill College. He also has an MPhil and PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of Cambridge. His doctoral thesis at Cambridge was entitled ‘The Removal of Sin in the Book of Zechariah’. He has more recently been Junior Research Fellow in Biblical Studies at Tyndale House in Cambridge.
Chris has worked on the staff of St Helen’s Bishopsgate in London and has been an active member of St Andrew the Great in Cambridge. Those who have worked with him speak highly of him as an excellent Bible teacher as well as a scholar.
